Dieser so genannte Spotpreis wird an der Strombörse täglich auf Basis von Angebots- und Nachfrageprognosen ermittelt und schwankt im Tagesverlauf. So kann etwa zur Mittagszeit bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung ein Überangebot durch Stromproduktion aus Photovoltaik entstehen, was zu niedrigeren Preisen führt. Umgekehrt steigen die Preise, wenn die Nachfrage das Angebot übersteigt – etwa in den frühen Abendstunden, wenn die privaten Haushalte besonders viel Strom verbrauchen.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Ch3\u003E\u003Cb\u003ESo funktioniert das neue Modell\u003C/b\u003E\u003C/h3\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFür die Nutzer der Shell Recharge App und der Shell Recharge Ladekarte bedeutet das neue Preismodell die Möglichkeit sinkender Preise in Zeiten mit hohem Angebot und niedrigerer Nachfrage. In Zeiten mit geringem Angebot kann der Preis steigen.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDie exakten Preise – zu denen auch Komponenten wie Netzentgelte, Stromsteuer, Betrieb und Netz-Investitionen gehören - können je nach Börsenstrompreis und den weiteren Faktoren variieren. Zum Start des Pilotprojektes am 30.06. betrug die maximale Differenz im Tagesverlauf maximal 6 Cent pro Kilowattstunde (kWh).\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDas dynamische Preismodell gilt für Privatkunden an allen Shell Recharge Ladesäulen. Mit diesem Vorteilstarif erhalten Kunden günstig für einen monatlichen Grundpreis von 4,99 € einen Rabatt in Höhe von 25 % pro kWh auf den aktuellen Preis, begrenzt auf max. 400 kWh/Monat, an Shell Recharge Ladepunkten in Deutschland. Das bedeutet, dass E-Autofahrer mit Shell Recharge App und der Recharge Ladekarte Strom – je nach aktuellem Preis – derzeit ab 42 Cent/kWh laden können.
