Es handelt sich hierbei um Wald im Sinne des Landesforstgesetzes. Das bedeutet, dass der Landesbetrieb Wald und Holz Nordrhein-Westfalen mit dem zuständigen Regionalforstamt Rhein-Sieg-Erft für die nachhaltige Sicherung der Waldeigenschaft zuständig ist.
