Neue Shell Elektromobilitätsstudie: Vertrauen in die Reichweite steigt stark an

Hamburg – Das Vertrauen in die Reichweiten von E-Fahrzeugen steigt in Deutschland stark an - das ist ein Ergebnis der jüngsten Shell Recharge Elektromobilitätsstudie. Shell legt die jährliche Studie als ein zentraler Akteur der Branche zum siebten Mal vor. Das Energieunternehmen gehört zu den Top-4-Anbietern von E-Ladesäulen in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.

Die Ergebnisse der neusten Shell Elektromobilitätsstudie bestätigen den Trend hin zu mehr Vertrauen in E-Mobilität. So sind in Deutschland rund 64 % der Befragten zufrieden mit dem Ladeangebot und rund 51 % machen sich weniger Sorgen um die Reichweite als noch vor zwölf Monaten. Wichtiger wird gleichzeitig auch das Ladeerlebnis – Laden soll schnell gehen. Rund 37 % der Befragten sind bereit, für schnelles Laden mehr zu bezahlen. Und: Das Angebot während des Ladens – vor allem im Shop-Bereich einer Tankstelle - muss stimmen: 69 % der Befragten würden weitere Strecken fahren, um für die Dauer der Ladezeit ein attraktives Angebot zu bekommen. Jeder zweite E-Fahrer ärgert sich über die vielen Apps. 71 % würden sich die „one and only App“ für alles rund ums Laden wünschen.

Wir wollen der Anbieter der Wahl sein und unseren Kunden auf und jenseits der Tankstelle attraktive Lademöglichkeiten bieten, wann immer und wo immer sie ihr Auto laden wollen“, sagt der Shell Chef des Tankstellengeschäftes in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz, Florian Glattes.“ Mit rund 1.500 Schnell- und über 1.000 AC-Ladepunkten gehört Shell aktuell zu den führenden Anbietern in Deutschland. Unser Ziel ist es, weltweit bis 2030 ein öffentliches Ladenetz mit 200.000 Ladepunkten anzubieten.”

Die Studie zeigt: Wen es einmal gepackt hat, der bleibt dabei: Mehr als ein Viertel (26 %) der deutschen E-Fahrer besitzt bereits das zweite E-Fahrzeug. Nur noch 38 % der deutschen E-Fahrzeug-Besitzer halten zusätzlich ein Auto mit Verbrennermotor. Je mehr das Vertrauen in die Reichweite wächst, desto mehr Strecke legen die E-Fahrer mit ihrem Auto zurück. Rund 30 % der privaten E-Fahrer fahren im Durchschnitt bereits mehr als 15.000 Kilometer pro Jahr, mehr als der Durchschnitt bei den privaten Verbrenner-Fahrern. E-Fahrer loben, dass sie im Vergleich zum Verbrenner Geld sparen und die Umwelt weniger belasten.

Zur Methodik des Reports:

Für die Studie wurden insgesamt 33.696 Interviews in den USA, China und Europa (Österreich, Belgien, Frankreich, Niederlande, Schweiz und Großbritannien) geführt. Darunter 9.397 in Deutschland, wobei sowohl bei den privaten als auch bei den gewerblichen jeweils Fahrer von E-Autos und Verbrennern berücksichtigt wurden.

Shell’s net-zero emissions target

Shell’s operating plan, outlook and budgets are forecasted for a ten-year period and are updated every year.
They reflect the current economic environment and what we can reasonably expect to see over the next ten years. Accordingly, they reflect our Scope 1, Scope 2 and NCI targets over the next ten years. However, Shell’s operating plans cannot reflect our 2050 net-zero emissions target, as this target is currently outside our planning period.
